To create a refreshingly simple mirror, the Copenhagen based design studio krøyer-sætter-lassen investigated how an entire frame could surround a mirror without detracting from the beauty and reflection of the glass - Almost as a museum treats its works of art in a frame. The Nimbus Mirror is simple, but its inspiration is rooted in the Gods. In Greek mythology, Nimbus was a shining cloud or corona that often surrounded a deity when on Earth. Available in bronzed or polished brass and light-reflecting glass, the soothing and sophisticated round shape looks at home in virtually any space. Held in place with decorative screws, the Nimbus mirror measures 43.3 inches in diameter, making it ideal as a functional object, as well as a decorative addition to homes, hotels or offices. Also available in a rectangular shape.
